If you think you can take good pictures just because you have an expensive high tech camera.. Think again!

A good camera, a camera that is functional and can produce good enough quality pictures is all you need. A good picture is captured from the eye of the photographer, someone who has the talent and the ability to tell a story behind a picture and it's learnable (can be learned).

Photography is one of many ways to express your vision and to make people understand and appreciate what you are trying to tell them from the picture you took.

If you are keen on photography then the first thing I would advice is to learn the basic theory of photography before start spending on expensive camera. Keep practicing by taking pictures of any subject, soon u will find a subject that would interest you most. Learn how to frame your picture well according to how you want to tell the story behind it.
So.. to those who can't afford to buy an expensive good camera, don't feel intimidated or embarrassed by using an inexpensive camera. You can gradually upgrade your camera to a better one once you think you are ready to take on the world of photography.
